If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern The Pitch’s relationship with you in relation to this website. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website. The term “Pitching Central” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website.

The use of this platform is subject to the following terms of use:

  • To participate in “Pitching Central 2.0”, the Participant shall be above 18 years of age and a citizen of India.


  • The Participant shall submit a short synopsis, not longer than 2 pages, of his/her original, unpublished, fictional story, in Kannada or English, along with the Entry Form.


  • The genre of the pitch should belong to either Drama, Crime, Thriller or Horror only.


  • The deadline to submit the pitch is on or before 30th September 2018.


  • The pitch/story must be original and not be published anywhere earlier (including magazine, blog, social networking websites, etc) prior to its submission in the Competition.


  • Pitch must be submitted only in ‘.doc’, ‘.docx’ or ‘.pdf’ files. There is no participation fee or entry fee for this.


  • From the total entries received, Purple Arrow Films will select the stories as per its selection criteria and his/her names will be announced in or around the first week of October. The decision of Purple Arrow Films will be final and binding in this regard and no communication in this regard shall be entertained by Purple Arrow Films.


  • Purple Arrow Films may at its sole discretion, choose to develop the pitch/story of the selected participant into a web series project by further working with the participant and by further developing the pitch/story in-house with the help of experienced mentors. It is however clarified that Purple Arrow Films will be under no obligation at any time to develop a web series project and such decision shall at all times be at Purple Arrow Films’ sole discretion.


  • For each selected pitch, two participants (pitchers) are allowed to narrate their story to the Purple Arrow Team.


  • The Participant further represents and warrants that he/she has all necessary rights, licenses, consents and permissions to use, and to authorize Purple Arrow Films to use, any and all copyrights, or other intellectual property rights in and to the pitch/story for the purpose of the Competition or otherwise as agreed. Any pitch/story in breach of this clause will be disqualified from the Competition.


  • Visual content is preferred if available and if the visual content is included as a part of the pitch, it must adhere to the 6 minute time limit.


  • All visual content, either a part of the pitch or an exclusive pitch should be sent to us as a ppt or via video streaming link such as YouTube, Vimeo, etc. Any audio recording connected with the pitch must also follow these rules and should be sent to us via audio streaming link such as Sound-Cloud, etc. Images and/or additional artwork that might be a part of the pitch can be emailed and sent to us in the JPEG / PNG format.
